Automation Script License Agreement

Last updated: [DATE]

This Automation Script License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“you”, “Licensee”) and 1001mockups (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY / OWNER NAME], [COUNTRY/JURISDICTION]. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the 1001mockups automation script (the “Script”), you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. About the Script

The Script is a tool that runs inside Adobe Photoshop and automates placing seamless patterns into compatible mockup files and batch exporting the results (“Output”). Requirements and supported Photoshop versions are listed on the product page.

2. License Grant

The Script is a one-time purchase. Subject to your payment and ongoing compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to install and use the version of the Script you purchased for your own commercial and non-commercial work, including creating and selling Output. “Perpetual” means your right to keep using that version does not expire.

Unless a multi-seat or team license is expressly purchased, this license is for one user. You may install the Script on the computers you personally use, provided it is not used by more than one person under a single license at the same time.

While your license to the purchased version is perpetual, we do not guarantee that the Script will continue to function in all future conditions. In particular, we do not guarantee future updates, compatibility with mockups other than 1001mockups files (see Section 3), or compatibility with future or changed versions of Adobe Photoshop. Adobe may change Photoshop in ways outside our control that affect the Script.

3. Compatibility — Important

The Script is designed, built, and tested to work with 1001mockups files — both mockups from the Mockup Library and mockups previously purchased from our 1001mockups Etsy shop.

The Script may also work with mockups from other sources, but we make no guarantee of compatibility with third-party mockups. Compatibility depends on how a given mockup file is constructed. We strongly recommend testing the Script with any non-1001mockups files before relying on it. Incompatibility with third-party mockups is not a defect and is not grounds for a refund under Section 8.

4. Permitted Use

You may:

  • Use the Script to place your own or licensed patterns into compatible mockups and batch export the Output.
  • Use the resulting Output for commercial and non-commercial purposes (subject, where library mockups are used, to the applicable Mockup License Agreement).
  • Use the Script for your own business and, where you provide design services, for your clients’ work.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

  1. Resell, redistribute, sublicense, share, rent, lend, or give away the Script, in whole or in part.
  2. Share the Script file, your license, download links, or account credentials with any third party.
  3. Copy, modify, adapt, translate, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer the Script, or attempt to derive its source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  4. Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the Script.
  5. Use the Script to build, train, or contribute to a competing tool, product, or service.
  6. Use the Script in any unlawful or infringing manner.

6. Intellectual Property

The Script and all associated code, logic, and documentation are the intellectual property of 1001mockups and remain our exclusive property. This Agreement grants a license only and transfers no ownership of the Script to you. You retain all rights to your patterns and to the Output you create.

7. Updates and Support

We may, at our discretion, provide updates or improvements to the Script. Any updates are provided under this same Agreement unless accompanied by new terms. We do not guarantee ongoing updates, compatibility with future Photoshop versions, or any particular level of support, except as stated on the product page.

8. Refunds

Because the Script is a digital product delivered immediately, [refunds are governed by our Refund Policy / all sales are final except as required by law]. As noted in Section 3, lack of compatibility with third-party (non-1001mockups) mockups is not grounds for a refund. See 1001mockups.com/refund-policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Script is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Script will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with any software or files other than as expressly stated.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1001mockups shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or files, arising from your use of or inability to use the Script. Our total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Script. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your files before running the Script.

11. Term and Termination

This Agreement is effective from your purchase and continues until terminated. We may terminate this license if you materially breach it, in which case you must stop using and delete all copies of the Script. Output lawfully created before termination may continue to be used, subject to any applicable Mockup License Agreement.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION / COUNTRY], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [JURISDICTION].
