1001mockups is a complete visualization system for wallpaper, fabric, and surface pattern businesses. A library of photorealistic PSD mockups, plus a Photoshop script that fills them with your patterns and batch exports the results — turning hours of manual work into minutes.

The part of the job nobody enjoys

You’ve finished a collection. Ten patterns, all ready to go. Now you need to show them — on walls, on fabric, in real rooms, from every angle — so buyers can actually picture them.

So you open a mockup. Place the pattern. Adjust the scale. Check the perspective. Export. Then you do it again. And again. Ten patterns across twenty scenes is two hundred repetitions of the same handful of clicks — a full day or more of work that produces nothing new, just necessary.

That’s the bottleneck between finishing a design and selling it.

Let the script do the repetition

Our automation script runs inside Photoshop and handles the placement for you. You choose the patterns, you choose the mockups, and the script fills every combination and batch exports the finished files — while you do something else.

The mockups from our library are built specifically for this. Every file is a layered PSD with smart objects, made to work with the script from the first run. No setup, no rebuilding, no guessing.

How it works, step by step

Step 1 — Prepare your patterns. Have your seamless patterns saved as files, at the resolution you want to display. That’s the only prep required.

Step 2 — Choose your mockups. Pick the scenes that suit your collection — dark and moody, bright and minimal, classic interiors, close-up fabric. Use mockups from the library, or 1001mockups files you already own.

Step 3 — Run the script. Launch the script in Photoshop, point it at your patterns and your mockups, and start it. It handles every combination automatically.

Step 4 — Collect your visuals. Come back to a folder of finished, photorealistic images — batch exported and ready for your shop listings, social posts, lookbooks, or client presentations.

What this looks like in practice

Say you’ve just finished a spring cottagecore collection — 10 seamless patterns, soft florals and gingham, ready to launch.

You browse the library and pick 20 mockups that match the mood: a sunlit bedroom, a papered hallway, a close-up of fabric draped over a chair, a framed swatch on a painted wall.

You run the script once.

Every pattern, in every scene, consistently rendered. Enough to fill twenty product listings, an entire social calendar, and a lookbook to send to buyers — from a single run.

What you’ll need

Requirements:

• Adobe Photoshop — supported versions: [VERSIONS]. The script runs inside Photoshop; there’s no separate app to install.
• Your seamless patterns as image files.
• Compatible mockups — from our library, or 1001mockups files you already own.

A note on compatibility — we’d rather be upfront: The script is built and tested specifically for 1001mockups files, including everything in the library and everything you’ve purchased from our Etsy shop. With those, it just works.

It may also work with mockups from other sources, but we can’t guarantee it — compatibility depends entirely on how a given PSD was constructed, and we have no control over how other designers build their files. If you’re planning to use third-party mockups, please test first rather than assume. We’d rather set the right expectation than sell you something that doesn’t fit your workflow.
